Do 98% of the pictures you have of YOU with your children look like this????
Selfies. Unless I pay a professional, this is how I get in a picture with my children. Now, don't get me wrong... I love a good selfie, but I would like my children to remember me as more than a floating head or to see that yes, mommy DOES wear makeup, brush her hair, and has more clothes than just black leggings and sweat shirts (my kids tell me that I look like a 'princess' anytime i put a dress or a skirt on... or do my hair and makeup. My son always tells me that I look like i'm going to a wedding... hahaha... what???? ok... ) :)
With this said... a few years ago I stopped doing mini sessions. I made the decision to focus all of my energy on FULL session clients. It was a risky move and I knew I would lose a few people along the way, but I thought it best for my business and my family to move in that direction.
However, there was one mini session i just COULDN'T give up. The 'Mommy and Me' mini session. Being a Mother myself, I see the value in precious, professional photos that show the love, connection and special bond between a Mother and her 'littles'. So, every Spring I offer a handful of discounted sessions to my clients and whomever else may want these precious, fleeting moments frozen in time.
